H3 Talent Shines with Dual Industry Award Nominations
H3 Group is proud to announce that two of its rising stars, Lucy Mayne and Jackson Bowcott, have been named finalists in two of New Zealand’s most prestigious event industry awards – a remarkable achievement that highlights the calibre of talent within the group.
Lucy Mayne, Regional Business Development Manager, has been selected as a finalist for the Emerging Business Event Professional Award at the inaugural Bizzies – Aotearoa’s Business Events Awards, taking place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025 in Auckland. The Bizzies are the first national awards dedicated solely to recognising excellence, innovation, and impact across New Zealand’s business events sector.
Lucy’s nomination reflects her dedication to the industry, her commitment to continuous professional development, and her collaborative approach to building strong partnerships. Her work exemplifies the high standards and forward-thinking mindset that H3 champions across the business.
A special mention also goes to the Hospice Waikato & Montana Food and Events Bucket List Banquet, which has been selected as a finalist in the Business Event – Legacy Impact category at the Bizzies. Claudelands has proudly hosted, sponsored, and helped grow this iconic event over the past 13 years.
Jackson Bowcott, Events Technician, has been named a finalist in the Industry Rising Star of the Year category at the 2025 EVANZ Awards. At only 19 years old, the judging panel praised Jackson’s passion, professionalism, and rapid growth within the events industry. The EVANZ Awards will be held next month at Mystery Creek on Thursday, 20 November, celebrating excellence across New Zealand’s venue and events sector.
“This dual recognition is an outstanding reflection of the talent, energy, and innovation that drives H3,” says Ben Slatter, Director - H3 Group. “We are incredibly proud of Lucy and Jackson – not only for their individual achievements but for the way they represent our values: Tight Team, Dedicated Hosts, Best in the Business.”
No matter the result, this recognition alone is worth celebrating. It’s a powerful reminder of the impact our people are making across the industry, and we look forward to seeing Lucy and Jackson continue to grow and thrive in their careers.
