Introducing FMG Stadium Waikato’s FIFA Eco Bags
FMG Stadium Waikato has launched a unique and sustainable upcycling project celebrating football history. The initiative repurposes the vibrant banners that once dressed Hamilton, Kirikiriroa during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ tournament, into limited-edition bags. This innovative upcycling project not only offers a stylish and sustainable accessory but also contributes to a greater cause.
FMG Stadium Waikato has collaborated with DEFENDERBAGS which donates their profits to SpinningTop, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing essential support and opportunities for migrant children in need.
These limited-edition bags serve as a tangible connection to the excitement and energy of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ tournament, while also bringing a touch of sporting history to everyday life. Each bag is a testament to the power of upcycling and the potential to create positive change through collaboration.
Purchase a piece of football history, make a difference, and join FMG Stadium Waikato in championing sustainability one recycled banner at a time.
FMG Stadium Waikato’s FIFA Eco Bags are available to purchase at the Hamilton Gardens and Waikato Museum, but only while stocks last.
