Jim Beam Homegrown Sells Out at Speed: Loyal Fans and Super Early Bird Tickets Gone in a Day
Demand for Jim Beam Homegrown 2027 has hit another level, with both loyal fan tickets and all Super Early Bird tickets now officially sold out.
After loyal fan tickets were snapped up in just 30 minutes, today’s Super Early Bird release followed suit, selling out within hours as fans rushed to secure their place at New Zealand’s largest all-Kiwi music festival.
Andrew Tuck, Jim Beam Homegrown CEO, says the back-to-back sell-outs highlight the strength of the festival’s momentum heading into 2027.
“To see loyal fan tickets go in 30 minutes was huge, but for Super Early Birds to sell out just as quickly today really shows the level of demand,” says Tuck. “People aren’t waiting around. They know if they want to be there, they need to move fast.”
Set to return to Claudelands Oval in Kirikiriroa Hamilton on Saturday 3 April, 2027, Jim Beam Homegrown is building on the success of its first year in the city, which drew around 25,000 fans and delivered a significant boost to the local economy.
“We always believed Hamilton was the right move, and the response since announcing 2027 has backed that up,” says Tuck. “There’s real excitement building already, and we’re only just getting started.”
With loyal fan and Super Early Bird allocations now exhausted, festival organisers say the next ticket release will be the next opportunity for fans to lock in their spot.
“Every release from here becomes more competitive,” Tuck says. “If today showed anything, it’s that tickets won’t hang around.”
Jim Beam Homegrown will once again transform Hamilton into a multi-stage, genre-spanning celebration of Aotearoa music, bringing thousands of fans together for a full-scale festival experience.
“Homegrown is about that shared energy - great music, great people, and a day that sticks with you,” says Tuck. “That’s what keeps people coming back, and clearly, they’re not taking any chances this year.”
Further ticket release details will be announced via homegrown.net.nz.
